Description:
Seacent Photonics offers compact CWDM modules that have a
free-space structure and provide high optical performance. They
come in a small-sized package and have extremely low insertion
loss. These features help to significantly reduce optical power
budgets for various applications. Additionally, these modules
enable datacom or telecom network applications to use low-cost
uncooled lasers, which also contributes to their
cost-effectiveness.
These modules are available in configurations ranging from 4 to 18
channels, making them suitable for expanding the bandwidth of any
network. As a single component serving as both a Mux and a Demux,
the CCWDM also simplifies inventory management and can be used in
the head end for outside plant.
The versatile and easy-to-install compact CWDM module provides a
simple and cost-effective solution for expanding bandwidth and
increasing revenue from existing optical fiber.
Compact Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CCWDM) is the use
of the Fiber Optical Multiplexer to different wavelengths of light
signals multiplexed to a single optical fiber for transmission, at
the receiving end of the link, with the Fiber Optical Multiplexer
fiber mixed signal is decomposed into different wavelengths signal,
connected to the respective receiving device
